In short: We build your website and you see it free. You pay the $100 build fee only if you approve it, and then $25/month for hosting, security, and maintenance. There’s no contract, so you can cancel anytime. You own your domain and your content, and you can buy your site files for $399 if you ever want to leave.
1. Definitions
- “LSH,” “we,” “us” means Craig Anthony Ventures LLC, a Michigan limited liability company doing business as Local Steps Higher.
- “Client,” “you” means the person or business that requests or uses our services.
- “Website” means the website we design, build, and host for you.
- “Site Files” means the design, layout, code, theme settings, and files we create for the Website.
- “Client Content” means the text, photos, logos, trademarks, and other materials you provide.
- “Services” means the Website, hosting, and any add-on services you choose.
By submitting our intake form, approving a preview, or paying for any Service, you agree to these Terms.
2. Services
We design and build a website for your business. Then we host it, keep it secure, and maintain it for as long as your plan is active.
3. Free Preview and Approval
We build a preview of your Website at no cost. If you approve it, the $100 build fee becomes due. If you don’t approve it, you owe nothing, and we may delete the preview. Approval can be given in writing, including by email or text.
4. Fees and Payment
- Build fee: $100, one time, due after you approve the preview.
- Website plan: $25/month, covering hosting, security, and maintenance. Billing starts when the Website goes live.
- Fees are billed in advance each month to the payment method on file. Fees do not include taxes, which we’ll add where the law requires. We’ll give you at least 30 days’ notice of any price change.
5. Term and Cancellation
Plans are month to month, with no long-term contract. You may cancel anytime by emailing craig@lsh.marketing. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and months already paid are not refunded. When the plan ends, we take the Website offline unless you’ve bought the Site Files (Section 7).
6. Non-Payment and Suspension
If a payment is more than 30 days past due, we may take the Website and any add-on services offline until your account is paid in full. If the account stays unpaid for 60 days after suspension, we may end the Services and delete the Website.
7. Ownership and Intellectual Property
- You own your domain name (see Section 8), your logo, and all Client Content.
- We own the Site Files. While your account is current, you have a license to use them for your Website.
- File buyout: For a one-time fee of $399, plus any balance you owe, we’ll give you a copy of your Site Files and transfer ownership of them to you, so you can host the Website anywhere. This does not cover third-party themes, plugins, fonts, or stock images that are licensed to LSH and can’t be transferred.
8. Domain Names
If we register a domain for you, it belongs to you. Registrars lock newly registered domains for 60 days, so once 60 days have passed and your account is current, we’ll transfer the domain into your name whenever you ask. While your plan is active, we renew the domain as part of it. If you register the domain yourself, you’re responsible for keeping it renewed.
9. Client Content and Responsibilities
You confirm that you own or have permission to use all Client Content, and that it is accurate and lawful. You agree to give us the content and feedback we need within a reasonable time, and to keep your contact and payment information up to date. You give us permission to use Client Content to build and run your Website.
10. Edit Requests
Send edit requests to edits@lsh.marketing. Your plan includes reasonable small updates, such as text, photo, hours, and contact changes. Larger work, like new pages or a redesign, may be quoted separately before we start.

Monthly add-ons are billed with your plan, and you can add or cancel them anytime under Section 5.
12. Referral Program
When someone you refer becomes a client and pays their first $125 (the build fee plus their first month), you get one free month of your website plan. Credits have no cash value, can’t be transferred, and we may change or end the program at any time without affecting credits you’ve already earned.
13. Third-Party Services
Some of our Services rely on third parties, such as Hostinger (hosting), Google (Business Profile), and Meta (Facebook). Those services have their own terms, and we’re not responsible for their outages, policy changes, verification requirements, or account decisions.
14. Warranties Disclaimer
We do quality work and keep your Website secure and running, but we can’t guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error free, or that it will bring specific results like search rankings, leads, or sales. Except as stated in these Terms, the Services are provided “as is,” to the extent the law allows.
15. Limitation of Liability
To the extent the law allows, LSH is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, such as lost profits or lost data. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the 3 months before the claim.
16. Indemnification
You agree to cover LSH’s losses and reasonable legal costs from third-party claims that arise from your Client Content, your business, or your breach of these Terms.
17. Termination by LSH
We may end the Services with 30 days’ written notice for any reason. We may end them immediately if you break these Terms, don’t pay, or use the Website for illegal, harmful, or abusive purposes. If we end the Services without cause, we’ll refund any prepaid, unused fees and give you your Site Files at no charge.
18. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms. When we make important changes, we’ll post the new version and email active clients at least 15 days before they take effect. If you keep using the Services after that, you accept the updated Terms.
19. Governing Law and Venue
These Terms are governed by Michigan law. Any dispute will be handled in the state courts of Genesee County, Michigan, or in small claims court where it qualifies.
20. Severability
If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect.
21. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with any written quote or approval, are the entire agreement between you and LSH about the Services. They replace any earlier discussions.
